Ada Bednarz
Hi, my name is Ada and I am a Polish illustrator currently living in London.
As a child, I grew up with a natural passion for drawing, but it was only a few years ago that I decided to fulfill my dream to become a picturebook maker. Studying the Children’s Book Illustration MA at Cambridge School of Art was a great time of fostering my creativity among wonderful artists and friends.
I enjoy creating playful characters, combining different techniques such as gouache, printmaking, ink, colour pencils and pastels. My inspirations come mainly from my childhood memories and observing my daily surroundings.
Living abroad for some time now, I speak fluently English and French.

The Walk is a humorous story about two dogs going on a walk in the park, that turns out not to be a very calm one. It is never a boring walk, when your sibling is around, right?
