Hello, I’m Kirsten. I’m based in Cambridge, where I love to go out with the intention of drawing Important Buildings and almost always end up drawing dogs instead!
My process starts with quick ink and wash studies from life, goes through a longer phase of trying to wrangle those studies into lively characters and simple settings, using pencil and Procreate. And then the fun starts again with ink and wash characters, who hop back into Procreate to be given pops of colour and a home with digitally collaged, ink and masking fluid textures.
My happy places include the forest, the swimming pool and the sofa, where you might find me in the company of my family, which comprises three gloriously silly humans and one perfectly sensible pug.

Diligence Jones wants to join in the ‘Bring Your Doggy to the Dance Class’ but she won’t go until she can dance perfectly and look perfect doing it. Her dog Bubbles, however, just wants to JOIN IN! When a magical body swap leads to just that, hilarity and (eventual) self-acceptance ensue.
