I have drawn, painted and made things for as long as I can remember.
I have wanted to illustrate for Children for many years and studying Children’s book illustration at the Anglia Ruskin has provided me with the perfect opportunity to develop my skills and find some new and exciting ways of working.
I have a strong interest in social history, folk art, folk tales, traditions and superstitions all of which inform my art work.
I am also influenced by the works of many mid century artists and illustrators such as Eric Ravilious, Edward Bawden, Barbara Jones. Enid Marx and Barnett freedman.
