I grew up on a farm in the middle of the countryside in Co. Cork, Ireland.

I earned my Bachelor of Education (Hons) degree from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick in 2011. For the following four years I enjoyed working as a primary school teacher and reading lots of children’s books with the children in St. Joseph’s Primary School, Macroom, Co. Cork.

I decided to take a break from primary school teaching to pursue my life-long passion for drawing and children’s literature, and embarked upon the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.

I love to use collage and play with colour and pattern when creating my artwork.  I can’t wait to see what new and exciting projects the future may bring.

"In dreams begins responsibility." - William Butler Yeats.

Did you know... A beaver's teeth never stop growing. The constant gnawing on wood helps keep their teeth from growing too long.

Did you know... Earthworms have five hearts.

Did you know... When zebras are in big herds their stripes merge into a big mass and make it hard for predators to single out individual animals.

Did you know... Chameleons can focus its eyes separately to watch two objects at once.
