Baoyi Deng
Bao Yi is an illustrator from Shenzhen, China. She holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and pursued further studies at the Cambridge School of Art due to her passion for illustration.
She excels in depicting characters and animals, with a particular focus on capturing the subtle expressions of her subjects. She is skilled at using lines and colors to construct her images and is enthusiastic about exploring the brushstrokes and textures of watercolor. In her daily creations, she frequently uses media such as pencils, colored pencils, watercolors, and ink, and also enjoys experimenting with the combination of handcrafts and various materials. Sketching is an important way for her to record life, and since studying in Cambridge, it has become an indispensable habit in her creative process.

This is a somewhat scary story about a girl who was troubled by a large amount of drawing homework. After she accidentally fell asleep, the characters she drew jumped out of the pictures and trapped her inside the drawings instead.
