Ellie Good
(She/Her)
Ellie is an illustrator based in England, with a passion for environmental issues.
Her work is a celebration of colour and form. The M.A has been instrumental in evolving her artworking process, which now consists of layers of pencil drawing, ink, stenciling, sometimes printmaking and always mess-making.
When Ellie was a child she found inspiration everywhere, especially in nature, and ideas for books and characters would cascade out of her head. Thankfully, this is still the case today. She loves that picture books are read by both children and adults. Ellie’s work often contains several layers of meaning that can be picked up by different readers, and it is her hope that this will prompt discussions between generations.
When Ellie isn’t drawing, she spends her days trying to cuddle her growing kids, sniffing books, walking in the woods, admiring 60s wallpaper and laughing at her ridiculous cat.

Welcome to Ignoramington
A woeful story of a city whose well-connected and foolish population incurs the wrath of some powerful vines. Could it be a glimpse into the future? Welcome to Ignoramington is a piece of activism that came second place in the ARU / GSI Sustainability Art & Design Award 2026.
