Hongyin Yue

(She/Her)

Hongyin is an illustrator from China. After graduating from an art academy with a bachelor’s degree, she chose to continue her studies in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, driven by her love for drawing. Her time there helped her reconnect with the joy she felt when drawing as a child.

Hongyin does not limit herself to a single medium, and experimentation plays an important role in her creative process. During her studies, she explored many different and playful ways of making images and gradually found the visual language she enjoys most. She is drawn to warm and gentle things, and her work is inspired by everyday life, personal experiences, films, and small moments of beauty. She hopes her illustrations can offer viewers a sense of warmth and comforting memories.
