Kate McGonigle
(She/Her)
Kate is an illustrator based in Cambridge, England. She has a background in theatre and graduated with an honours degree from The Juilliard School in New York. Kate has since returned to her roots in Cambridge where she continues to create characters full of heart and humour.
Story-telling has always been at the heart of Kate’s work, and she is inspired by the way children explore the world through play.
Throughout the MA course, Kate has explored new techniques that embrace imperfect and spontaneous ways of illustrating, and has relished creating stories that explore silly, curious characters and a hint of the absurd.
