Lisa is from the vibrant and diverse city of Shanghai, China.After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, she went through a period of confusion.
But soon, light returned to her eyes. She is deeply grateful to be studying the MA in Children’s Book Illustration—this is where her journey toward her dream began.
She loves experimenting with texture using charcoal, ink, toothbrushes, and unusual materials. She enjoys collage and building textured, time-worn landscapes. She is drawn to old paper and ancient stories of Christianity and faith. Her dream is to create picture books that communicate faith.
