Lois Han is an illustrator based in Sichuan, China. She graduated from Tsinghua University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. During the studies, she found herself addicted to designing outfits for adorable animal characters and imagining their fun stories. It is the reason why she applied for Children’s Book Illustration MA, as she thought it aligned perfectly with her interests and personality.

Lois enjoys using watercolor and acrylic to illustrate delicate and intricate decorations, especially the patterns on the clothing and flowers. She also likes using ink to make casual and lively doodles. Depicting the relaxed and humorous daily lives of animals and their intimate relationships always brings her positive energy. Apart from that, Lois tries to convey a sorrowful atmosphere in her work as well; she strives to think about how to express subtle emotions more precisely and with restraint. She hopes her work will have a more diverse style, both visually and narratively.
