Lucy Cox

Lucy is an illustrator from the North East of England. She joined the MA after completing a degree in Illustration, aiming to specialise in creating children's books.

Her practice is inspired by everyday life, memories of home, and family holidays, with a strong love for creating patterns and playful shapes. During the MA, Lucy has continued to develop her graphic style through paper collage, alongside experimenting with printmaking processes such as risograph printing and, most recently experiencing a breakthrough with screen printing. Through these methods she explores texture and colour, creating nostalgic and playful imagery rooted in personal experiences.
