Shivali Devalkar is an illustrator from India, currently based in Cambridge, UK. Drawing has always been close to her heart, gradually leading her to pursuing art professionally. She has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator, line producer, and project manager in children’s animation, experiences that continue to shape her approach to visual storytelling.

Her practice centers on experimentation with mixed media, to capture atmosphere, emotion, and subtle narrative moments. She is interested in creating work that feels intuitive and emotionally resonant, often drawing from memory, observation, and a sense of wonder. Fascinated by outer space and the everyday poetry of life, her projects range from imaginative children’s narratives to quieter, reflective visual stories. Outside her studio practice, she enjoys playing sports, cooking, and stargazing, activities that feed her curiosity and creative thinking.
