Sophie Meade

(She/Her)

Sophie is an illustrator from New York City, currently located in Cambridge, UK. She graduated in 2018 from Dartmouth College with a major in Fine Art and a minor in Digital Arts.

She loves working in the print room and is especially fond of processes that involve working in layers. Her favourites include offset lithography, screenprinting, and risograph printing.

She has always been drawn to stories with an absurd or nonsensical element and hopes to create a feeling of whimsy in her work. She is inspired by everyday life and the people around her and loves trying to find magic in the mundane!

When she’s not doing art you’ll probably find her watching baseball, reading, or hanging out with her dogs, Theo, Ziggy, and Willow!
