Zoe Ansari

Zoe is an artist and illustrator based in Cambridge, UK and trained as a letter carver in stone at the Cardozo Kindersley Workshop in Cambridge over 20 years ago. She has also studied animation at Central St Martins in London. During her career as a letter carver her work has always lent towards the illustrative. Whilst raising her family she embarked on the MA to develop her artistic practice enjoying mixed media, print making, story telling and embracing a looser quality and play in her work. Zoe’s work explores themes of myths, folktales and folk-art and she particularly enjoys atmospheric and spooky stories. She likes to draw curious creatures in imaginary places.
